Anyone that knows me, knows that I love to be in nature. While on a nature walk this morning it occurred to me the deciduous trees (such as maple and oak), are such wonderful additions to nature that we can learn from.

"As I was walking on the snow crusted trails, I thought about how these trees have lost their leaves and even though they are bare they are still standing tall, their limbs reaching out and some stretching into and touching other trees. "
As I was walking on the snow crusted trails, I thought about how these trees have lost their leaves and even though they are bare they are still standing tall, their limbs reaching out and some stretching into and touching other trees. Each winter they lose their leaves and do not try to hold onto what is no longer useful. They embrace change. They accept that new leaves will grow again...it is part of their cycle of life.
The trees understand this cycle will bring new life to the tree itself. New beauty and strength for a new season.
When we endeavor to be like a tree we can begin to enjoy life more fully.
Why not give this way of thinking a try?
Let go of things in your life that are no longer useful or serving you well.
Make room for new things, people and situations in your life so that you may become strong and even more beautiful than you are.
